It is important to distinguish the difference between the Parish Meeting and the Parish Council Meeting, as they have a very different composition and purpose.
At this meeting, which is chaired by the Chairman of the Parish Council, the residents can debate any matter that they wish or any issue which concerns them. They can decide what they wish to do about any issue or any action they would like to take. They can form committees to take matters forward and, through the Chairman, call further Parish Meetings during the year if they feel that is necessary.
