Dog fouling of the footpaths and verges in and around the village has increased in recent months. Predictably, as the spring arrives and the number of dog walkers multiply, the problem will increase further. This hazard is one we all recognise both with our noses and from the mess on our floors and carpets. There is also a health hazard for all - but especially the young children in our community. The Dog Warden Service take this matter seriously and will respond to reports of dog fouling. If you know of a regular offender please advise the Parish Clerk who will pass on the concerns to the Dog Warden. If the offence (and that is what it is!) happens regularly - at a particular time or place then that information will be very useful in catching the offending Dog Owner - and it is the owner who is responsible for not clearing up their mess.
